Custom Detroit Lions Mallet
A custom walnut and maple mallet with a painted cedar handle and 3D-printed Detroit Lions logo inlays set under clear epoxy.
Build Story
The head is solid walnut and maple — chosen for the striking contrast and balanced weight. The handle is crafted from leftover cedar, sanded smooth, and painted in Lions blue.
Walnut detailing adds warmth and depth to the overall piece. The centerpiece is a 3D-printed Lions logo inlaid on both sides and filled with clear epoxy resin for a durable, eye-catching finish.
This was one of my favorite builds — combining the craft of woodworking with 3D printing to make something truly custom.
